Christmas Tree 2006

Every year we try to get more creative with our Christmas trees, one year it was a 3 sided tree, another year it was a tree without a top & the star was stuck on with a coathanger. This year it is 2 tiny trees tied together to make 1. We cut them down yesterday in the woods. It doesn't have many branches... so it's a little homely, but I love it anywho... it has character & it's so obviously been pulled out of the woods i always expect to see tiny birds hopping about in it, or maybe a squirrel. For your viewing pleasure, i have drawn some sort of a masterpiece, so that you can see it's beauty. I have also added in a few features which our x-mas trees have every year...

Hello Sailor Moon...

... weirdly hilarious

Tuesday, October 24, 2006

woah... theres a tiny person in the grass

Sometimes when i look at the ground i expect to see little people running around. i was thinking about this while out for a walk the other day... there would be little people running about, living in cute little huts. there might be a fairy or two, radiating their majesty while they flutter about. Of course there would be a cutsie little King & Queen, and a Bishop in his bishopy hat. And naturally there would be a little Scotish dude... because for some reason that would complete it. And they would all be happy... happy all the time...

On a different note... i was listening to Christmas music today and it just really made me want it to be Christmas right now. I wish i could bring everyone I loved to my house at x-mas... that would be prime.

Crayon Bono.

Once upon a time last Sunday there was a girl who loved Bono. While in a restaurant waiting for her food she wished that Bono was there too... so she drew him on her placemat with crayons, and named him "Crayon Bono." And then she lived happily ever after because Bono was with her. The End.

Stronger
...Delirious?
We're getting stronger every day
We're getting braver in every way

Hallelujah, here we come

We're getting stronger every day
Push through the waves that fall our way
Hallelujah, here we come
We're much stronger when we're one
Hallelujah, here we come

Oh, I love You from the depths of my heart
And nothing here will tear us apart
Everything's beautiful with You
Everything's beautiful when You invade my life
And I'm living just to say that I love You

We're getting closer every day
Chasing the dreams that heaven gave
Hallelujah, here we come, yeah
We're getting closer every day
Into Your arms I'm here to stay
We're much stronger when we're one
Hallelujah here we come

Oh, I love You from the depths of my heart
And nothing here will tear us apart
Everything's beautiful with You
Everything's beautiful when You invade my life
And I'm living just to say that I love You

Yes I love You
Oh, I love You now
Oh yes, I love You

Numa Numa !

About a week ago i discovered my friend had this song on a cd she always played in her car... i never new what it was called and i didn't know what it was saying because it was in a different language... but i loved it. Everytime I was in her car i would be like "let's listen to the song that in a different language." Yesterday I finally asked what it was called... Numa Numa, or in the language of the Romanian boy band who sings it (O-Zone)... Dragostea Din Tei. Fam Trip to the K Landing... Word

Today my family took a trip to King's Landing... I had a blast because I got to hang out with my entire family. I may not actually be related to Andrea (my brother Jesse's lovely lady) or Jen (who lives at my house... yay!) but i consider them fam cuz they fit in so well, and we all love them like crazy.

Jess & I posing for a sibling shot in a very pretty garden.

Here I am posing with the tree that looks like it should be in a Jane Austen movie... I love this tree, and I love King's Landing because it is the time period right after Jane Austen... so many Jane Austen-ey things... I love Jane Austen.

Beautiful Brookwood... pictures from the week my sister & i were chaplains at a summer camp

This is chapel... everyone is doing the actions to a great song called "King of Love." it really makes you think about how spectacular God really is. I loved to see everyone singing this song.
This is my sister Gray with an amazing camper... who also loved the song King of Love... it was awsome to see her doing the actions, and having a blast doing them... she loves to dance and it is so cool because it really brought joy to everyone around.
I really love this picture because it shows how totally insane the guys at camp were... here you see them setting of fireworks as a salute to my family as we drive away... i especially enjoy the added touch of one of them wearing a little girls sweater. (note-it's the guy on the farthest left)

NOTE... THERE ARE MORE PICTURES TO COME :) YAY!

ok... apparently i lied... there are no more pictures to come because my blog had decided to stop letting me put pictures on it... sorry!
